Shopping Carts and Spiritual Teachings

If you’re curious about learning a new way to let the divine into your everyday moments, I got another (grocery store) one for you.

You know that big moment at the grocery store when you need to think fast and grab a shopping cart? You know that it’ll be THE shopping cart for the next 10-60 minutes and because you’re such a loyal person, there’s no way your turning back after this decision is made. You’ll suffer through whatever difficulties this cart will give you.

The thoughts race through your head:

Will this cart be one with the funky stubborn wheel?

Will this cart be a stretcher?

Will this cart be one that makes a loud clunk sound at every rotation of the wheel?

You imagine what it’ll be like, walking through the store, hoping your apologetic smile will make up for the obnoxious cart you chose.

Then you go to grab one and it will not relinquish it’s connections to it’s fellows…so you think…maybe this one wasn’t meant to be. Or maybe it’s worth fighting for?

That’s the moment when you scream in your head “Universe which one should I choose?!?” You’ve reached that moment when the crying out of the soul to the heavens is necessary.

When you give up completely, that’s when the universe can speak.

Offer this “BIG” decision to the divine or a higher power of your understanding. It WILL show you the way.
